October 15 Allendale Invitational Itinerary

Here is the travel and performance itinerary for the Allendale Marching Band Invitational on Saturday October 15.

Because this is a morning performance and we have a home football game the night before have done our best to keep our timeline compact.

Itinerary:

7:30am - Call Time - Load Semi

8:00am - Change into Uniform/Inspection

8:30am - Depart CHS for Allendale HS

9:15am - Arrive Allendale HS/Unload

10:00am - Warm-Up

10:30am - Move to Staging

10:45am - PERFORM

11:00am - Watch Last Band Perform

11:20am - Awards

11:30am - Load Semi

11:45am - Depart Allendale for CHS

12:30pm - Approx. Arrive at CHS Unload and Change

12:45pm - Approx. Pick-Up Time

Volunteers:

Volunteers will be needed for Uniforms, Pit Crew, Bus Chaperones, etc.  Click Here to Volunteer!

October 11 MSBOA Marching Festival Performance

Next week Tuesday, Oct 11 is our Bands performance time at MSBOA District 10 Marching Festival at East Kentwood High School.  

Because this is a school night we have done our best to keep this a short evening so we are starting as late as possible and will be returning immediately following our performance. 

Itinerary: 

5:30 - CALL TIME - Load Semi

6:00 - Change into Uniforms (semi Departs for East Kentwood)

6:25 - Load Busses and Depart for East Kentwood HS

6:30 - Depart CHS Via School Bus

6:45 - Arrive at East Kentwood High School/Unload

7:30 - Warm-Up

8:00 - Move from Warm-up to staging

8:15 - PERFORM

8:30 - Return to Semi and Load

9:00 - Approximate Departure time for CHS

9:15 - Approximate Arrive at CHS

9:30 - Approximate Pick-Up

Grandville Invitational Volunteers

We still need volunteers for our  Oct 8 invitational performance at Grandville.  Click Here to see how you can help and sign-up

We especially need parent chaperones to ride the bus.  This involves checking the students name off a list whenever they get on the bus, sitting on the bus, and then watching our performance for free.  

It is an easy job and the kids are good.

-This is a busy month!  Students, it is important that you look ahead at our schedule and make sure you are being proactive in planning your time for homework, jobs, etc.  You are ALL critical to the success of the group as we move into the competitive part of our year.  

-Parents, please continue to encourage your students as they learn how to organize their time to maintain their commitments to their activities.

10:30pm - Arrive at CHS/Unload/Change/Get Picked up
