Rehearsal will end at 7:30 tonight.


Reasons:

  1. We have another later night tomorrow 

  2. It will be dark then and we won’t be able to see






MarchingBand: Announcements Week of October 9

The busiest part of our season is in full swing! Here are your announcements for the week of October 9


-MSBOA Marching Festival this week!

-Kids pushed through the weather for some great performances this weekend! Excellent job at the Hastings Invitational. 3rd Place with a score of 86.00 with awards of excellence in Marching, Percussion and Guard.

-We cannot thank our wonderful volunteers enough.  You helped get us dressed, dry us out, move our equipment, Hydrate and feed us and so much more.  Thanks for being a wonderful example of community service excellence for our students!

MSBOA INFO/ITINERARY:


Tuesday, Oct 10 is our Bands performance time at MSBOA District 10 Marching Festival at Wayland High School.  

Because this is a school night we have done our best to keep this a short evening so we are starting as late as possible and will be returning immediately following our performance. 


Itinerary: 

4:45 - CALL TIME - Load Semi

5:15 - Change into Uniforms (semi Departs for Wayland)

5:40 - Load Busses and Depart for Wayland HS

5:45pm - Depart CHS for Wayland HS

6:15 - Arrive at Wayland HS and Unload

7:00 - Warm-Up

7:30 - Move to staging area

7:45 -  Perform

8:00pm - Load semi 

8:30pm - Approximate departure for CHS

9:00pm - Approximate arrive at CHS Unload/Change


Volunteers:

Volunteers will be needed for Uniforms, Pit Crew, BUS CHAPERONES, etc.  Click Here to Volunteer!


Spectators:

Happy “Bandtober”! Here are your announcements for the week of October 2

-The next three weeks are the busiest of our season, please keep track of your calendar and read your emails!

-Excellent performance on Saturday at Kenowa Hills.  Thank you to our students,  parent volunteers and staff

for going  the extra mile to ensure that these educational opportunities are a success!

OCT 6 - Friday Football Itinerary Vs. Grandville:

4:00pm - Band Room Opens

4:30pm - Drumline/Guard Warm-Up

5:00pm - Uniform Room Opens 

5:45pm - RTP (ready to play) on practice field in Full Uniform

6:30pm - Marching to Stadium

6:50pm - Pre-Game!

7:00pm - Kickoff

*9:15pm - Approximate end of game and March band to Band Room to Change

*9:45pm - Approximate Pick-Up Time

*Please note that these times are approximate due to the pace of each game being different. 


OCT 7 - Saturday Hastings Invitational

The Hastings Invitational will give us more feedback as we continue to improve and we’ll get to play under

the lights for a great audience! (and because it’s later in the day students can sleep in after our long game day!)

PARENTS: As always, you are encouraged to attend and support our students! Cash Only Tickets at Gate: Adults $10,

Seniors $9, K-12 Students $5
