Marching Band Announcements
Due to the shut down of the HS we will not be able to have any in
person rehearsals until Sept. 14. This includes Marching Band
rehearsal that normally would have taken place tonight.
Keep practicing the music, and keep checking in to Brightspace.
I know there have been technical glitches, but we are working
hard to make sure that students can access what they need,
when they need it.
Students will need to pick up their instruments on Monday, August 31.

1:00pm-2:30pm
Upon arrival park in the staff parking lot of the North Campus (near the music rooms/FAC)
and form a line at the gate between the north and south campus. Enter the corner door of
the band room individually as guided by Mr. Liker or Mr. Wellfare. Go directly to your
locker in the storage room, get your instrument, and then exit the building through the
same door. Students will not be allowed to access any other parts of the building and
must leave as soon as their pick-up is complete.
Students will wait in a socially distanced line and all students will be required to wear a
mask at all times.
Please email me if these times do not work and we will work out a different solution.
By now you have heard about the closure of the High School and all
HS activities until Sept. 14.
We know that many of you need your instruments from the band room.
I am awaiting further guidance on how this will be handled and will
communicate with you as soon as I know anything.

As promised, here is the information regarding Jazz Band!
Jazz Band will be starting next week Wednesday, September 2.

or have questions. Our online students can also sign-up for Jazz Band.

Jazz Band is a 0 Hour class that meets on Monday, Wednesday and
Thursday from 6:50am-7:35am. This is a normal class that meets
during zero hour so those who sign-up will receive a grade and
attendance is counted.
It will appear on your schedule once you fill out this form and we have
our first class meeting on Wednesday, September 2.
We have a lot of fun playing different styles and genres of music and
have many cool opportunities planned for this school year.
Students will not need to bring their instruments to school on our
first day Tuesday, Aug. 25.
In order to accommodate the needs of each section and to best utilize our staffing we are making some adjustments to the rehearsal schedule for Monday, August 17.
All Woodwinds and Brass - 9:00am-10:30am
All Percussion - 11:00am-12:30pm
Colorguard - 6:00pm-9:00pm
-Please check in at the practice field as normal
-Remember to bring water and eat a healthy breakfast
-Remember to wear your mask
Freshman: We understand that some of you will have your scheduled orientation time during the rehearsal timeframe. Go to your orientation at the correct time. If it works for you to come to a portion of rehearsal please do so before/after orientation.

we used during Pre-Camp.
Check-In will be at the practice field just like pre-camp.
Remember to eat a good breakfast and hydrate!
