Parent Meeting

Anyone with remaining balances or paperwork to turn in will be able to do so.

Have a great day!

Hydration and Recovery

Another great day of rehearsal!  This is going to be a stellar Group!

Today was our first day outside in the heat.  We took things slowly and took plenty of water breaks so that students could continue to acclimate to outside activity in the heat.

Here are some of my suggestions for recovery from heat:

-Set an alarm for every 20 or 30 minutes to remind yourself to drink water throughout the day after rehearsal -Gatorade and Powerade are good to mix in to the rotation as well.

-take a  shower to bring down your core temperature

-Avoid Energy drinks and soda.

-Eat light and healthy meals

-make sure to eat a light and healthy breakfast prior to rehearsal and hydrate!

Being in the heat does take getting used to, but keep taking care of yourself and it will keep getting easier!

Have a great day!
