MarchingBand: Senior Band Parent Details

Dear Senior Band Parents,

We are looking forward to honoring your students and you for your important contributions to your child's musical development this evening.  

Here are your details:

By 7:00pm Please line up along the fence by the 50 YL gate.  You can watch the band enter and perform their “pre-game” music from this vantage point.  

When that music is done (7:03ish) The band will go to the field and your seniors will line-up alphabetically on the track.  Please quickly find them and stand with them.  

Our Boosters president will hand each family a small token of our appreciation as your name is called.  Once all names have been called you will be dismissed to your seats in the stands to enjoy the show. You may want put a blanket down or some other indicator so that your seats in the stands are “reserved” when you return to them.

Announcements Week of October 26

Below are your Marching Band Announcements for the week of October 26.

-Final Performance - Tuesday at 7pm in the Stadium.  We will be honoring our seniors and giving families one last chance to see our 2020 Show “Love”.  We are also excited to have our 8th graders join us for “pre-game”. CLICK HERE TO RESERVE YOUR TICKET

-Short Rehearsal Monday evening  from 7-7:45. (guard and drumline at 6) so we can add our 8th graders to pre-game.

TODAY - Important Information!

Despite the cancellation of the game the band is still going to perform our show tonight at 4:55pm at the Stadium!

As of now the weather also looks like it will be clear by our scheduled performance time so it should be a great evening!  

Here is a reminder of the itinerary:

4:00pm - Student Call time at HS Practice Lot

4:30pm - Gates open for parents at the stadium

4:55pm - Performance

5:10pm - Approximate march back to HS to be picked up 

TICKET DETAILS: 

Please choose “digital” to have them sent to your device OR the “print” option which will allow you to print them yourself.

We will not be printing any tickets today.  Use only the digital or print them yourself option.

PARENTS OTHER IMPORTANT ITEMS:

-There will be a health screening upon entry to the stadium.  You will be asked to scan a QR code on your phone and answer a few questions about your health.  (paper copies will be available if you can’t use your phone)

-social distancing, masks, etc will be required.  Seating is marked in the bleachers.  School Admin will be in the stands to help with this.

-When the Band Performance is done the stands will be cleared and everyone will exit the stadium.

Tickets for Friday October 23

This Friday you will need a ticket for the band performance.  We are using the ticketing system that we have used in the past for Band Concerts to allow you all to get the tickets you need.  

The price is set to $0 so you do not have to enter any payment info.  

Ticket reservations will end Thursday, Oct. 22 at 8am.

If you need a paper copy printed and sent home choose “Will Call”. I will only print your tickets and give them to your student  if you choose the “will call” option on check-out.

SENIOR PARENTS:

Each Band senior will be allocated 2 tickets for parents/guardians to also attend the game if you wish.  Parents, If you would like to take advantage of this please fill out this form by 8am on Thursday and your seniors will be given these tickets to give to you.

Announcements Week of October 19

Below are your Marching Band Announcements for the week of October 19.

-Game Week - It will be the same routine as the last game.  Ticket email will go out soon

So we can get them to you in time.

-Save the date for the “Indoor” Marching Band Concert next Tuesday Oct. 27 at 7pm.  We will 

Be performing at the stadium and our 8th graders will be joining us for the “pre-game” portion 

Of our performance. 

-Senior Recognition will be taking place on Oct. 27 at the concert in the stadium.

-Addition: we will have a rehearsal at the stadium next Monday (oct. 26) from 7-7:45.  This will allow us to Add the 8th graders to pre-game and make sure they are comfortable.  Thanks for your flexibility.

Announcements Week of October 12

Below are your Marching Band Announcements for the week of October 12.

-Thank You for coming out to see our show last Friday!  Our final game of the year is 

On Friday, October 23.  More details coming soon.

-Save the date for the Indoor Marching Band Concert on Oct. 27 at 7pm.  It won’t be 

indoors, but we are still planning on performing that evening. Details soon.

-Weather for Monday is questionable.  We will keep an eye on things throughout the

Day and communicate any changes to rehearsal via email and remind.

Friday Update

We’ve had an overwhelming response for tickets for our performance, which is amazing!

I did not get a chance to complete printing all of them to give to your students today.  I will give them out tomorrow.

Uniform:

Students will be getting their show shirts tomorrow.  Please wear Khaki shorts (or as close to khaki as possible...or just shorts if that isn’t an option) and tennis shoes.  Don’t stress about the shorts, anything will be fine.

Looking forward to presenting our show for all of you!

Friday Information

This email contains the information you will need for our performance this coming Friday. 

Parents: This is a free performance, but you will need a ticket.  There will be an online sign-up so you can get the amount of tickets you need for your family (link coming soon).  The tickets for band will only be good for the Band performance.  Once the Band is done at 5:10 the stadium will be cleared.  We will be recording the performance for use during the livestream of the game if you cannot make it live.

4:00pm - Band Call Time - Ready to Play (RTP) at HS Practice Lot

4:30pm - South Gates of Stadium open for ticketed band parents

4:55pm - Band  show performance

5:10pm - Football team enters/band plays

5:15pm - All Band Parents exit stadium (if staying for game a separate ticket from Athletic department is required)

5:20pm - Seniors/Section Leaders Stay to play (track area) - Rest of band is done, exit to band room

6:00pm - Kick-off

8:15pm - Approximate Senior/Section Leaders done - return to band room

8:30pm - Approximate Pick-Up

Announcements Week of October 5

Below are your Marching Band Announcements for the week of October 5.

-The band will be performing this Friday!  There are still many restrictions

And details are being finalized, but the full band will be performing our show live sometime 

Between 4:30 and 5:15 for our Band Families in the stadium. This performance will be 

recorded and Played during the livestream at half-time. Due to continuing restrictions on 

Attendance the full band will not be staying for the game, however, we will have a 

Smaller group of students that will stay to play as a pep band. Thank you to Mr. Lienesch 

For helping us to work out the details and for allowing this to happen.  We will have a 

Final itinerary and more details Monday which should answer any questions you may have.
