the team, band and school.  They also always bring some unknowns, so please keep track of your email for details

as we find out information.

-Great Job at the Jenison Invitational.  The Band Earned 1st place with a caption award for Best Percussion and

awards of excellence in music.  Hard work, focus and dedication have paid off!

-Pictures - We are working on getting pictures scheduled…Weather is a major factor at this point, but we will have

more details soon.  We are looking at potentially this Friday before our playoff football game.

MarchingBand: Weekend Reminders/Requests/Etc

The next 4 days are very busy for the Band, but we are looking forward to some amazing performances.  We look forward to having big supportive audiences at all of our performances!  Please note the link to the map and a construction notice in the Jension Invitational Itinerary.

Fall Concert Advance Ticket Sales

As always, our concerts are free and general admission! However, Don’t like waiting in line?

Want that special seat for our Fall Concert? This is your chance to support the

band and reserve your seat in advance today.


In order to help us fund our program we will be offering a limited

time pre-concert ticket sale for our upcoming Band Concert.  This is a pre-sale only.

You WILL NOT be able to purchase reserved seats at the door. Tickets are digital only and your seats will be labeled when you arrive!


Reserved seating will be $10 for adults and $5 for senior citizens and students. 


All seats not reserved in advance will, as always, be free and general admission.

Doors will open at 6:30pm for the 7:00pm Concert


This sale will end at Noon on Friday October 20 so reserve your seats today!

CalBands: Wreath Sale!

Our Annual Wreath Sale has returned!! 


Handmade in Rockford MI by Hart Tree farm, these 22-24” wreaths are made from Farm

Fresh Douglas Fir. ALL ITEMS ARE UNDECORATED ready for you to match your décor. 

LIMITED QUANTITY AVAILABLE! Once wreaths are sold out we cannot

order more, so get yours today!

Wreaths will be delivered in early December (Date TBD) and be available for pick-up between

2:30 and 6:30 outside the HS Band Room.


Wreaths are $25.  Students will receive a $3 credit per wreath sold.

Rehearsal Update

Rehearsal will end at 7:30 tonight.

MarchingBand: Announcements Week of October 9

The busiest part of our season is in full swing! Here are your announcements for the week of October 9


-MSBOA Marching Festival this week!

-Kids pushed through the weather for some great performances this weekend! Excellent job at the Hastings Invitational. 3rd Place with a score of 86.00 with awards of excellence in Marching, Percussion and Guard.

-We cannot thank our wonderful volunteers enough.  You helped get us dressed, dry us out, move our equipment, Hydrate and feed us and so much more.  Thanks for being a wonderful example of community service excellence for our students!

Tuesday, Oct 10 is our Bands performance time at MSBOA District 10 Marching Festival at Wayland High School.  

Because this is a school night we have done our best to keep this a short evening so we are starting as late as possible and will be returning immediately following our performance. 


Itinerary: 

4:45 - CALL TIME - Load Semi

5:15 - Change into Uniforms (semi Departs for Wayland)

5:40 - Load Busses and Depart for Wayland HS

5:45pm - Depart CHS for Wayland HS

6:15 - Arrive at Wayland HS and Unload

7:00 - Warm-Up

7:30 - Move to staging area

7:45 -  Perform

8:00pm - Load semi 

8:30pm - Approximate departure for CHS

9:00pm - Approximate arrive at CHS Unload/Change
