Here are your Marching Band Announcements for the week of October 17.
Once we get through this week things slow down a bit. We can do it!
We are so proud of our students - They are showing incredible results as we challenge them to constantly improve and hold themselves to a high standard of excellence! Go Scots!
Parents - Thank You for encouraging and supporting not only your own children, but the entire band. We couldn’t do it without you!
This Week (and a little beyond):
-NO Rehearsal on Monday - get some rest (or go to the choir concert at 7)
-Tuesday Oct 18- Monthly Band Boosters Meeting 6-7pm in HS Band Room
-Football Game - FRIDAY - Oct 21 (same itinerary as normal game (5:45pm RTP)
-Jenison Marching Invitational - SATURDAY - Oct 22 (see below for itinerary)
-Monday Oct 24 - Fall “Sounds of the Stadium” Concert in the HS FAC at 7pm. (call time 6:30 rtp)
Reminders and General Announcements:
-Hats are arriving this week - $10 can be turned in to band room mailbox (in envelope with name on it) or pay online via charms
-Wreath Sale - Click Here to order your holiday wreaths! While supplies last!
-Football playoffs will be starting in a few weeks. This is an exciting time for our students, school and community. More details will be coming soon.

FRIDAY - FOOTBALL VS. ROCKFORD ITINERARY:
5:00pm - Uniform Room Opens
5:45pm - RTP (ready to play) on practice field
6:30pm - March to Stadium
6:53pm - Pre-Game Performance
7:00pm - Kick-Off
9:15pm - Approximate game end and march back to school
9:30pm - Change and Load Semi for Saturday
9:45pm - Approximate pick-up
SATURDAY - JENISON MARCHING INVITATIONAL:
Itinerary: (note adjusted arrival time because of loading on Friday)
9:15am - Arrive and get into uniform Uniform/Inspection
9:50am - Depart CHS for Jenison
10:30am - Arrive at Jenison High School/Unload
11:10am - Warm-Up (area B)
11:55am - Move to Staging (Pit already in staging)
12:05pm - Band in Staging
12:15pm - PERFORM
12:30pm - Return to Semi/Load
1:00pm - Return to stands watch remaining bands
1:30pm - Awards for class B, A, AA
1:55pm - Approximate Departure from Jenison for CHS
2:30pm - Approximate Arrival at CHS to Unload/Change
2:45pm - Approximate Pick-up Time
